 Exceeding expectations
We were attending wedding in moon palace resort with all inclusive package.We looked at this Brazilian restaurant & want to try. After dining we only have praises for food & amazing service.Steaks is out of the world. Friendly professional service of Juan,ivon & Jorje is outstanding. Kodos

 Best Brazilian steak ever!
We had so much experiencing Brazilian BBQ at Arrecifes! I totally recommend the Brazilian steak as it was the juiciest and best type of steak we had at this restaurant. There is a little dress code, and as long as you're not wearing a bathing suit or something too beachy, you'll be fine.There is a massive salad bar that has stuff such as seafood ceviche, prosciutto, cheese, bread, vegetables, rice, and more! Then the servers come around and offer you different types of meat such as filet mignon, sirloin, prime rib, chicken, Brazilian steak, sausage, and more. I personally liked the Brazilian steak, filet mignon, and chicken the most! They were all perfectly cooked and seasoned and tasted really nicely. I wish I hadn't forgotten to order the picanha but it completely slipped my mind.They also have a huge selection of dessert such as ice cream, cookies, cheesecakes, chocolate and coconut cakes, and more! Also don't forget to order the Mayan coffee! I wish I could have visited this restaurant one more time but we were too busy trying out all of the other restaurants in Moon Palace. Maybe next time though!

Great meal at Arrecifies! Impeccable service and choice cuts of meat cooked to perfection. Top that with some fun sides and flaming Mayan coffee with your desert and you will find yourself in a food Nirvana.

 Nice Dinner after Long Travel Day
After a very long day of travel, we made it back to the Westin Spa & Resort Cancun. We unpacked and ventured downstairs to the Arrecifes Mexican cuisine. We were very happy that our awesome server from last year, Vicente was there and waited on us. He even remembered our names. A "Wow" moment! Our dinner was deliciouso. Can't remember the names, so here's a picture. Rest assured our tummies were full. However, we did save room to split a scrumptious creme brulee'. As Arnold says, "We'll be back"

Great Ambiance, good food. We were seated almost immediately and the drinks were served. Their wine selection was good and the servers kept checking on us to serve grilled meats. We tried turkey and chicken but we liked chicken. The salad bar is huge, fresh with variety of cheeses and dips. We liked the Jalapeno garlic and Cilantro dip. The bread was fresh, very soft and tasty. We enjoyed our dinner at Arrecifes and would recommend to all.

 If you’re staying at the Moon Palace, you can’t miss Arrecifes.
I had a wonderful time at Arrecifes! The meat was delicious, and so were the salad bar, the side dishes and the house wine; plus, the ambiance was nice and relaxing. Although I only stayed at the Moon Palace for two days, I dare say this is the best restaurant they have. A special thanks to Edwin Arceo, Juan Carlos Zanchez and Victor Velasquez for the friendly and prompt service!

 Best restaurant at Moon Palace Sunrise Resort
There are a total of 5 restaurants at Sunrise, where we stayed, all with very good food. However, our favorite dinner place is at Nizuc only a 5 minute bus ride. The buses run continuously between the 3 resort areas, Sunrise, Nizuc and Grand, which provides plenty of options for dinning. The ARRECIFES BRAZILIAN STEAKHOUSE is amazing. We dinned here 3 times this week and the last night we were greeted by the same waiter team, OMAR ACEVEDO, ALEJANDRO CORAL and GUSTAVO HERNANDEZ. They were fabulous and so happy to see us again. Our favorite wine was brought to the table almost immediately. The food is amazing and for our last night, they surprised us with a special desert prepared right at our table. A peach flambé. Incredible.

The food here (Brazilian grill) was incredible. We tried a huge variety of delicious grilled meats. The sides were good, and there was also a salad bar. There was a kids' menu. The dessert cart was a big hit with my family. This was the best meal I had at Moon Palace.The waitstaff is patient and attentive.

Omar Acevedo entertained us through the whole meal with amazing magics and funny tricks. My kids loved him! Victor Toledo and Genaro Marlin also offered us excellent service! I highly recommend Maya coffee.

 Amazing customer service from Omar and Victor!
We visited this restaurant 3 times during our stay at Moon Palace as the food and customer service was exceptional. Our waiter each time was Omar Aceuedo and our meat carver was Victor Benaro. The meats are amazing and cooked to perfection but the main reason that we kept returning was the great service. There was one occasion where we arrived at the restaurant but they were closing and we were refused entry by the ladies at the front door but Omar spotted us and called us in and made a table for us even though the tables had already been prepared for breakfast the next day. He remembered what side dishes we previously liked and brought them out without us having to ask for it. It was our last night at the hotel and after we had finished eating he gave us a take away tub full of my favourite desserts. This extra special touch was greatly appreciated by us. He also wanted a photo with us which I will also attach to this review. We will also never forget the great service we received from Victor and also his sweet phrase after carving each meat "its a pleasure". Our memories of this restaurant are very special and we hope to be able to return there one day.

 Fabulous Service and Food!
Dining at Arrecifes was one of the best experiences of our vacation! Omar, our server, and his team of Victor and Genaro provided world-class service. The food was served promptly, with large portions. We will go back to Moon Palace just for this restaraunt!

 Meat Lovers Paradise
One of the best restaurants in Cancun! The menu features an expansive all-you-can-eat salad bar with just about anything you can think of. There are unique local salad offerings as well, such as cactus and cheese. For the main course, skewers of finely grilled meats ranging from pork, top sirloin, chicken, turkey, sausage, bacon and Brazilian steak are brought and carved at your table. We tried everything and each item was delicious. Come hungry, because you will fill up quickly.

 Excellent Dining Experience!
This is a MUST dining spot amongst the many restaurants at the Moon Palace! Dining staff was very attentive and went over and above to make it very special for us. We were celebrating our daughter's and her best friend's high school graduation and they offered to make an extra seafood dish for us that was not on the menu. Kudos to the chef! Thank you Armando, Elbert and Jose!

 Dinner Brazilian Restaurant Arrecifes
There are places that have Brazilian food and there is Arrecife... By far the best one we have ever been in. This is a must when staying at the Moon Palace. Nizuc is the lobby where hardcore meatlovers will find their Promised Land! Special complimets to the great staff that helped us to have an amazing experience in our first anniversary, with a special cake and their pitch perfect Besame Mucho Mariachi interpretation!!! Muchas gracias al fantastico equipo: Efrain Cauich, Edwin Arceo, Victor Hugo, Carolina Yam, Claudia Gonzalez and Manager Javier Guerrero.  So much meat!!!
There was so much delicious meat at dinner!! So wanted to keep eating but got to the point where we felt like we would pop. Lovely experience!! They had good buffet breakfast too.

 Incredible awesome dining experience
We are a big fan of Brazil Grill type restaurants, and having dined at several in different places in the world, we have acquired dining experience and expectations with respect to quality of both fare and service. When we took a family vacation at Moon Palace we were pleased to learn that there was a Brazilian restaurant on-site named Arrecifes (at Nizuc location), so we had to try it out. In a nutshell it was phenomenal... The flank steak was the best we have ever tasted anywhere! The chicken was amazing, tender and succulent, as was the ham (called bacon here), and the 8+ other meats. Moreover the grilled pineapple was outstanding; cooked with a thin cinnamon honey glaze onto its surface (which transforms it into an incredible treat). The salad bar was extensive and extremely well done and well laid out. Alas... The unwary diner will fill themselves up, leaving little spare room for the meat delicacies that will soon weave up to their table. Our meal capped with Mayan coffee (equivalent to Spanish coffee elsewhere), and liquor / sugar glazed bananas a la mode. It was simply exquisite. The attentive service was hands-down unmatched by any restaurant we have ever ate at anywhere. The cooks were wonderful, and a special shout-out to our waiters Efrain Cavich, Edwin Arceo, and Daniel Gallegos, and managers, Francisco Javier and Guerrero Lopez, for making our dining experience at Arrecifes be one we will never forget.

I really enjoyed dining at Arrecifes - Nizuc. My date and I enjoyed it so much, we dined there 3 nights in a row. Yes, it was that amazing. The staff was very friendly and treated us like royalty. The 3 Victors were wonderful, along with LaZaro. So when you dine there, please ask for The 3 Victors; Victor Compos, Victor Toledo, Victor Velazquez, and of course, LaZaro.David Joyneraka: "Barney/Hip Hop Harry"

One of the best meals I have ever eaten. Not much selection in the buffet, but the meats are plentiful and delicious. The chicken literally falls apart, and the filet is mouthwatering. THEY EVEN HAD FRESH BACON!!!!! Almost everything pairs well with the chimmichurri sauce. And the desserts, don't even get me started, I could live off of the large selection. Service was also very good. Loved it so much we went 3 times in 7 days.

Stopped here a couple nights for drinks and snacks. The Arugula ham pizza was particularly good. Also the salad bar and fresh bread were tasty. The staff were excellent, very helpful.

 Good service and delicious eats
I ate at Arrecifes Restaurant twice during my stay at Cancun. The service was top notch! The food was tasty too. They have this amazing mixed grill served in a stone bowl. I want to say it was called molcajete. I still dream about that bowl of BBQ!

Wanted some authentic local cuisine and ate here. Ordered the Cochinitas (which is pulled pork) and it was prepared like locals prepare and the flavor was oh so delicious. Had a hard time deciding what we wanted to eat, and we made the perfect decision. Serves with corn tortillas but can ask for flour instead. Comes to you in a mojecta (stone pot). Recommend this place for sure.

Brazilian influenced restaraunt. I love this place! They are consistent with service and quality of food. They have meat coming all night long if you choose. Different cuts of beef, pork, chicken and sausages. They have hot side dishes available too (jambalaya, potatoes, zucchini, re fried beans). Cold side dishes are available too... cold cuts, cheeses, salads. There are desserts buffet style and they also bring a selection to your table. The wait staff is friendly and on top of everything. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are staying at the moon palace. Advice: come 10mins before they open and they will seat you right away and you won't be waiting in a long line.

I went with my family to eat here and ended up eating salad to my heart's content. The manager noticed I wasn't eating meat, and offered to have fish grilled for me! And, it was grilled to perfection! Again, service was spectacular

Staying At the westin, we had dinner there. Service was good and waiters attentive. We had the ceviche trio appetizer and a tortilla lime soup, both very good. I also had a whole red snapper which was excellent. A tostada appetizer was also great, with a modern twist on a traditional meal. Overall very good

This restaurant specializes in the Brasilian cuisine, with a barbecue specialty that we hadn't encountered before.They barbecue various types of meats, sirloin, lamb, brasilian beef, spanish sausages and much, on special skewers. Each meat on its own skewer.They then come to your table with one skewer of one type of meat, and they cut off exactly the piece and quantity that you desire. After some minutes the waiter shows up again, another skewer and meat, and cut for you again, and so forth.You have a small token on your table, green on one side, red on the other. As long as you can eat more meat, you keep the green side up, and when you're full ,you flip the red side up.The meat is of outstanding quality, in particular the flap steak was amazing... and because the skewer is constantly returned to the barbecue, it is always a freshly grilled piece that you will get. Very nice restaurant, love the food concept and the quality!

Great place, great service, great food. We went there with my friend's family (total of 8 people), and we were very pleased with the fabulous service from three amazing waiters (Alejandro Cob, Juan Pouedanc, Gubtao Hernandcz). We were served with seven kinds of delicious meat. Definitely will go next time.

Very nice restaurant, love the food concept and the quality!

 Great Brazilian Steak House
Great place, great service, great food. We went there with my friend's family (total of 8 people), and we were very pleased with the fabulous service from three amazing waiters (Alejandro Cob, Juan Pouedanc, Gubtao Hernandcz). We were served with seven kinds of delicious meat. Definitely will go next time.

 Great view, excellent service, very good food
We began our meal with the Seafood Trilogy - three types of ceviche. I had the Mahi Mahi and my wife had the Mexican style steak & enchilada. Everything was very well prepared with a nice presentation, nice blend of flavors. I would lying if I said that I have not had better food, however, I am not sure that I have ever had better food for the price... very reasonable. And you can't beat the ocean view. The service was very attentive, but not overly so. Which is important to me - you want a waiter there when you need and to be invisible when you don't.

 Unexpectedly great food!
It was about 10:30pm when we walked in to The Westin Resort, and we just had many problems since we arrived, so when we saw this restaurant while waiting for our friends to check-in, we decided to give it a try. So from the entrance, it just looked like a door to downstairs restaurant, but surprisingly they have outdoor seating by the beach. Even though they close at 11pm, they were still willing to serve us at 10.30pm.My friends made the order of Linguine de Mare, Seafood Soup, Molocajate, and one more appetizer, which I forgot to name (see picture). They were delicious. While we're waiting for the food, we also found out that there were some sea turtles babies hatching on the side of the hotel, so 2 of us were checking them out. Overall, it's a pretty nice ambience, great food, and baby turtles viewing, WIN!!!

We really enjoyed this restaurant in the Westin. Our waiters Carlos and Pedro were excellent and the food was very good. I really enjoyed mixed grill fajitas and the chocolate cake at the end was excellent. Definitely recommend having it with ice cream to balance out the spicy with the cold.

 Pretty views, good service
Pretty views, service was good. The menu focuses more on Mexican style food. We had some tuna wraps as our appetizer, and they were the best part of the meal. Our main dinner selection was a traditional fajita dish, but it was different than what we usually get when we order fajitas. Smoky in flavor, it was served as a mixture of meat and vegetables in a large cauldron-style bowl. The atmosphere was nice, but the American pop/rap music they were playing was a little bit too loud and spoiled an otherwise romantic spot.

This restaurant opens at 6 p.m. and serve Mexican type food. Menu is not very large but everything is cooked freshly and just "different". Nice quality and tasty. Try grilled cactus! Oh! Nice view on the beach at sunset!

This is a big place and very easy to get lost to many side streets and dead ends also traffic is a bit manic . The beach is definitely a must do though as it's beautiful. Good for a day out if it a bit overcast but go after 4.30 as all shops shut from 2 till 4.30 siesta. Bus runs regularly too.

Came here twice for dinner with my kids. Food was ok, portions on the small side. Something in the menu was ordered by my daughter but later was found out not available. Our waiter made that up by offering us free desserts which were very good. Service was perfect, waiters explained a lot of stuff in the menu, and was very attentive to our needs. We also got a huge discount by being guests at the nearby Raintree Regina.

In comparison to the quality of food you will get at some of the top restaurants in Cancun, this one rates very low.The food quality and choice was simply not there.Service was quite scatty as our waited disappeared for quite a while and took longer to order.Lovely to seat outside on the balcony though and look over the ocean while having early dinner.

I'm not a big fan of churrascarrias as it is normally way too much food/protein, but our family decided to give it a try as it is only one of two a la carte restaurants at Nizuc - Moon Palace Resort. Some of the meats, like the chicken and flank steak were cooked to perfection, very tender and flavorful; but the beefsteak was extremely tough. They offer two wines - merlot and cabernet sauvignon from the same winemaker, which I unfortunatley can't remember now, but stay away from the merlot... My big disappointment was with the chimichurri - way way too salty! I tried to use it sparingly, but I literally got up at least three or four times that night to chug down water and try to rehydrate. Needless to say, we were stuffed after sampling the eight types of meats. I was thankful that the portion sizes were small so we could try them all.Would we go back? No

 Underwhelming
We were comped dinner here by the Westin. The food was underwhelming. Limited menu, not impressed. The fillet was more like sirloin steak, the crab cakes were more like crab marshmallows. I wouldn't go back & our dinner was FREE.

Just plain awful. They need to look up fine dining seriously. I'm not a fan of it but I know what it should be. Really poor choice and to much effort on making look pretentious. Would much prefer to just of tasted good. Very expensive not worth it. Judging by other reviews we either came on a bad day or they have blagged the other reviews. Would give 0 if was an option
