In short...JUST GO! It's an experience you won't regret. The food, the entertainment, EVERYTHING was perfect! And if you have any food allergies or maybe can't eat Gluten, just let them know in advance and they'll make your experience wonderful!This is a one hour experience of a lifetime! If ever in the Cancun area, you must must go!!! I applaud the staff and the chef for making this a wonderful event!

A dark experience
I didn't quite believe them at first when they said we'd be in the dark but boy was I wrong! It was pitch black dark in there you could barely see who was at your table. They served us 4 cocktails and 27 delicious dishes that I probably would have never eaten if I would have been in the light and couple see what it was which is why they do it in the dark so that you can stay open minded. The food was wonderful and the performers were so fun and kept dinner entertaining. I truly loved this experience and would definitely do it again!

My boyfriend and I were a little iffy about not seeing our food, but it turned out to be one of the best experiences that we could've encountered! I believe our waiter's name was FERNANDO, and he was fantastic. He was so polite and accommodating to us. The little show and the singing was beautiful, and we wish we could come back again. It's truly an experience you don't want to miss :)

A Must Have Experience at the Oasis Resort
The Black Hole is a very creative concept created by the minds at the Oasis Resort. By taking away your site, it allows you to use all of your other senses to explore, experience and enjoy the food, drink and entertainment. The courses/tapas are meant to tantalize your pallet. We were greeted and walked to our seat by a mime who guided us only by the use of black light aluminated mask and gloves. Our server/guide in the experience was Alejandro who provided wonderful service. Also the walking around staff (singers, mimes, support staff) were amazing as well. My wife made reservation to the Black Hole while we were staying at the Oasis Pyramid in Cancun, I was not really sure what to expect specially since my wife is a very picky eater, me on the other hand I eat anything so I was ok with it, but don't worry they will try their best to accommodate you and change any of the dishes depending on your preferences which for my wife was really good. The food is amazing the staff, the show and the experience of dining on the dark with was a must do specially if you are in the Oasis Pyramid or if you are in the Cancun area.

Anniversary Dinner

The service was great. They took their times to explain the food after we tried them. The music and performances were a treat and added to the overall experience. The food was great. Unique and Fun Experience

An unforgettable experience
While on Honeymoon at the Pyramid we were super excited to try the Black Hole. We didn’t want to set the bar too high with our excitement. However, the experience exceeded any and all expectations!! I don’t want to ruin anything because there are a lot of fun surprises that I’m glad I didn’t know about. That being said... the staff is AMAZING! Both in terms of entertainment and execution. We tasted approx 25 different things having no clue what they were and LOVED every single one of them. These tastings included beverage, apps, entrees, desserts and other random things. It was so interesting to not be able to see any of it and rely on other senses... smell, touch, taste.After each tasting our server, Alberto, would ask what we thought it was (which was usually wrong) and told us what it actually was in a very playful manner. He was a delight and had us laughing in the dark a lot. This is a not to miss experience here or anywhere! We walked away saying that we had the best time and want to do it again! The experience as a whole was amazing but Alberto really took it to the next level! Thank You Black Hole staff and thank YOU Alberto!!

A fabulous surreal dining experience
The dining experience at the black hole is unlike any other! An evening of surreal and comedic surprises in the dark, accompanied by a flavourful and vast taster menu made up of bite size dishes that challenge both tastebuds and mind! They catered perfectly for my husband and I as pescatarians too, which was wonderful as we didn't feel that we were being shortchanged due to our dietary requirements.

We understand the tasting menu concept but many of the dishes were disappointing. Overall it's definitely worth a visit for the experience but if you are a real foodie you may leave disappointed
