Ulises- We promised we would mention you and we you deserve it! Great service and a good meal!! Ulises was great, including his trivia about Forrest Gump! We would highly recommend visiting if you want a good, familiar meal while on vacation! Oh, and we got to see a crocodile in the bay just outside the restaurant. Very cool!

Family of 5, went in mainly for the NFL game tonight, also had the Cubs game on! We all had a variety of foods, shrimp, ribs and a burger, everything was wonderful! Our server, Jacki was very friendly and awesome! We also got to keep our glasses as a souvenir. Thanks for providing a wonderful dinner on our vacation!

We visited Bubba Gump for the first time and we weren't disappointed! Tasty food and good portion for what you pay! Lovely set up of the restaurant. We enjoyed the trivia questions all about the movie. We were served by Victor who was polite and provided us a brilliant service. Apart from the food being appetising, if you buy certain drinks you get give the glass as souvenirs too!! Overall satisfied customers.

 Amazing!!
The food in this place is amazing!! Went at lunchtime, was pretty quiet then got going a bit, actually visited cancun from pdc just to come here!! We got the clam chowder and chicken to start, i got the shrimp stuffed with crab and my partner got the mixed, included fish and chips, hush pups, shrimp, loads of dips, cookie dessert to share, amazing portions, great beer on tap, nice service!!!

 Great food, Good Service
We have been to other locations before (Galveston / Miami) but it's just something different about this location. The seafood was the best we've ever had, and server Karla really does a great job. We arrived to find everyone inside (why would you eat inside at sunset when they have an open deck, idk) but we requested to eat on the deck. I thought that would mean the service was going to be bad, but it wasn't. Karla was right there every time, had a bit of QA with us and apparently we arrived on Mexican Independence day (I didn't know) and she provided us some good info on the culture as well. I've heard some questionable reviews but if you go, ask for Karla. She really takes care of her guests.

Our waiter victor was spectacular! service was great.Everything he recommended us was absolutely deliciousYou never ran out of anything because there was victor to fulfill your every need. This is now my new favorite place to eat when I'm in Cancun mx.

 A ver tasty birthday
Me and my girlfriend spent our last night here in Cancun to celebrate her birthday, and it was a delicious culinary experience. Karla was our waitress, she is the kind of employee all the restaurants must have, she gave us the best options and thanks to her we have the best dinner in our trip. If you are looking for a delicious place, and you are a huge fan of FOREST GUMP, you should come around.

Elder, Jaquelin and Karol took care of our group in the bar area while a local college footbal game of our area in Miami was going on and they were kind enough to play it. Our experience could not be better. Match with kind remarks, excellent upbeat spirit and enthusiasm and incredible customer service they made our evening one to remember and we could not have been more pleased with their service. They certainly gave Bubba & Gump at La Zona Hotelera a great reputation.

I just returned and I think I experienced the best service of my life! We made a reservation requesting a booth and were seated immediately although we were early. We were asked if we preferred English or Spanish, I chose English. We were assisted by nearly everyone working in the restaurant. The servers worked together to ensure your cup was never empty, no plates lingered at the table and that you were generally ok. We ordered salads, shrimp tacos (yummers) and the Forrest feast. The passions were generous and we were stuffed. The total came to $35 which wasn't bad. We also bought a pic and frame to commemorate our first trip. They come by to say snap photos. Jorge was our main server and he was awesome!

We stumbled across this on the way back to the hotel. Service was fast and efficient and setting was perfect for the environment. Food was served piping hot and came quickly! Try the cocktails and ask for the trivia! 10/10! We were served by Kara who made the meal entertaining and don’t forget about the shakers! They are a must!

Hadn't been to a Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. in a long time, but were anxious for some good "fruit of the sea." Bubba Gump did not disappoint. Wonderful dinner. And, our waiter, Ulises, entertained us with some fun Forrest Gump trivia questions. A pleasant evening with great food!

We came here on our holiday to Mexico. It’s a little out the way so we had to get a taxi from our hotel. Outside lots of taxis wait so it was easy to get back to the hotel. Very friendly staff and plenty of waiters and waitresses. Food was nice, good size portions and reasonable price. The best thing about this restaurant is the gift shop! I got a very funny t shirt with quotes from the film. It’s my favourite top to wear at the moment.

Nice to see what Tom Hanks wore (with props) on a look-a-like mannequin when coming into this restaurant. The location is good being across the street from the Flamingo Hotel and just over from The Outback. Fish tacos were excellent! Loved the service as well.More

 I got the best t shirt ever!!!
We came here on our holiday to Mexico. It’s a little out the way so we had to get a taxi from our hotel. Outside lots of taxis wait so it was easy to get back to the hotel. Very friendly staff and plenty of waiters and waitresses. Food was nice, good size portions and reasonable price. The best thing about this restaurant is the gift shop! I got a very funny t shirt with quotes from the film. It’s my favourite top to wear at the moment.

Visited here with my boyfriend whilst we was holidaying in Cancun. The food was that good we came here a couple of nights after. Admittedly, the food was nicer the first time, hence only 4 stars but I would still recommend. The 'net catch' starter with garlic was lovely and a very generous portion of shrimp. The chicken starter was nice too. For mains we had the steak and ribs and the fish and chips. Both were lovely. Be aware the extra large portion of fish was huge and I didn't end up finishing it. The drinks were good value, especially as you got freebie glasses at the end. Would love to visit here again.

 A nice place for dinner
Me and my girlfriend were staying at the rui caribe hotel and a couple we had met recommended trying this restaurant as they had been and enjoyed it.We got the bus down here from the hotel - the driver kept us right on where to get off the bus.We ordered starters, i got the garlic bread and my girlfriend the onion strings - bot of which were brilliant, cant complain at all.I am a really fussy eater, i ordered the southern fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy. On first viewing i though this looked lovely, however when i ate some of the potatoes this put me off as it was as though there was green veg put through the potatoes and it didnt agree with my taste buds. However the chicken and gravy were lovely.My girlfriends meal was lovely she had the prawns with chips and something else (i cant remember the other thing). The chips were lovely she gave me a few because of my disappointment with the potatoes.This was only a personal opinion and would recommend anyone to go here.

Had a really nice meal here and left seriously full with 2 free cocktail shakers having had one of their signature drinks each. It is certainly not fine dining but for good food and quick service it is excellent. Our mains came before we had finished our starters which was not ideal but other than that it’s gimmicky and fun place to go and eat.

Was hoping for something a little more American for a change. The food however was a mix of some nice Shrimp, but nasty fish. It was typically USA prices, and the service was good. Drinks had way too much ice, and diet coke was from the can

We were going to order two entrees with side salads but he suggested we share an entree since we were ordering salads which was spot on since the entree was quite large. Our main course was the seafood sampler and while it was good, the fish and crab balls were heavy on breading, which was the only thing we didn't like. But, other than that, we were pleased and would recommend.

Probably won’t go back. Location is right in the hotel zone which is easy to get to on the R1 or R2 bus for $1 US.
