 This place ROCKS!!!!
We were looking for a reasonably priced Italian restaurant, and found this place on Yelp. An unassuming front opens into a restaurant that is decorated in fun style. We were warned by our waiter that the portions were large, but were not prepared for what we got. One order is definitely enough for two, and maybe three. The prices are very reasonable, and the food is excellent. My son and daughter both said that the pizza was some of the best they had tasted, and they have been to Italy. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

Service is excellent, affordable and big portion. Recommend for family as the food portion would be too much for just 2 person . Nice deco and if you sit upstairs you would have a nice view....

Served family style, so very large portions. One pasta dish could feed four. Also had fresh bread ($1) with olive oil and vinegar. But the real deal was the liter draft beers, 2 for 1!!!! Had two pasta dishes, penne with marinara sauce fettuccini with tempura shrimp... WAY too much for the four of us. I have heard that this is another location of a small chain in Cancun and I hope it survives. It's very hard to find such a good value in the hotel zone. Outstanding service!!

Our server, OMAR, spoke extremely good English and gave us outstanding service. There is a nice view of the lagoon from upstairs. Parking is quite limited. Entrees are about 280-300 pesos ($15-17USD), wine about $5 a glass and beer about $3.......but one entree will easily feed 2 if not 3 people. I would say the food was average to good, not great, but this is a fun place, not fine dining. There is actually an authentic Italian pizza oven in the kitchen . Good place for families or couples. Not romantic. Just fun. Ask for Omar.

But these guys proved me wrong. The place is a fantastic and innovative concept nicely decorated in plastic and kitchen stuff (a little kitschy yet not totally campy) with attentive staff and huge plates to share. Did I see god in the face when I tried the food? Of course not, but the flavours were ok and the prices more than fair. Great value for your money which is highly appreciated in an overpriced area as Cancún’s hotel district. Just give it a try, relax and enjoy.

I have heard that this is another location of a small chain in Cancun and I hope it survives. It's very hard to find such a good value in the hotel zone. Outstanding service!!

We learned Chstrs (pronounced Cheesters) had opened a branch in the hotel zone. There are 4 others in downtown Cancun. It is decorated in a very colorful Mexican funky decor, quite pleasant to enjoy. Our server, OMAR, spoke extremely good English and gave us outstanding service. There is a nice view of the lagoon from upstairs. Parking is quite limited. Entrees are about 280-300 pesos ($15-17USD), wine about $5 a glass and beer about $3.......but one entree will easily feed 2 if not 3 people. I would say the food was average to good, not great, but this is a fun place, not fine dining. There is actually an authentic Italian pizza oven in the kitchen . Good place for families or couples. Not romantic. Just fun. Ask for Omar.

Chstrs or Cheesters is always an excellent option from midday to dining in downtown Cancun, but now they have opened a branch at Cancun´s Hotel Zone.The place has a very cool decor, very youthful and kept it immaculate and tidy. It is not a high end restaurant, but it is nice and with very good vibes.The food besides tasty is always served generously.We ask for:Mushrooms Cheesters, of very good done and excellent flavor,Pasta Di Parma, also very tasty and served with generosity.A salad Alejandro Mango (my favorite), which as always lived up to its name and also one:Pizza Carnivoro with the same good taste of all the dishes we tried out.All this accompanied by some natural drinks and a bottle of red wine; The bill was $ 80.We were 5 adults, two of them in the 20's (you know how they eat) and we left a little bit of everything.We wish Chstr (or Cheesters) success and a long stay in the hotel zone.

I was really hesitant about this one. Honestly I thought it would be weird to visit a place like this (more like a children’s plastic playground than a restaurant) during a beach vacation. But these guys proved me wrong. The place is a fantastic and innovative concept nicely decorated in plastic and kitchen stuff (a little kitschy yet not totally campy) with attentive staff and huge plates to share. Did I see god in the face when I tried the food? Of course not, but the flavours were ok and the prices more than fair. Great value for your money which is highly appreciated in an overpriced area as Cancún’s hotel district. Just give it a try, relax and enjoy.

A good spot for a casual dinner, price-portion relationship is good, it's not cheap but they sure serve you a whole lot. Salads and carpaccios are yummi and well served too, so are the drinks.

Service is excellent, affordable and big portion. Recommend for family as the food portion would be too much for just 2 person . Nice deco and if you sit upstairs you would have a nice view....

We stopped in, mostly because of the bright sign and had a pretty good meal. Not the best Italian I have ever had, but pretty good (I'm very picky about Italian food). Served family style, so very large portions. One pasta dish could feed four. Also had fresh bread ($1) with olive oil and vinegar. But the real deal was the liter draft beers, 2 for 1!!!! Had two pasta dishes, penne with marinara sauce fettuccini with tempura shrimp... WAY too much for the four of us.
