Italian is always my favorite. A must try. Wan't disappointed in any of the restaurants of the resort.

Our Valentine evening at the Italian restaurant was fabulous. My Husband and I met the food service manager the night before and he wanted us to come back at 7:30 on Valentines evening and he would have everything set for us. We arrived and he had a beautiful table set with candle and rose pedals. The food was fabulous. The piano man was playing romantic music. It was a "10". Thank you so much.

Presentation, service and quality, outstanding. Whatever you choose, meat, fish, chicken, pasta's, food has favor and cooked to perfection.

We had the most amazing food at this restaurant and went several times during our holiday. The staff were lovely and really looked after us. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Not in one go of course lol. I really can't say anything bad or negative for this Resturant as it was class and exquisite, it was one of my favourite restaurants during my stay in the Hotel. We had a complimentary meal especially prepared by the Chef which was not on the menu, which is the 2nd and 3rd picture that I have posted with this review, we met with the Chef 2 days before to tell him what we like and it was then down to him to prepare it and present it, and we we came to have it, it was absolutely amazing. I thought it was only a 3 course but no..... we must have had 6/7 course, we was so stuffed at the end. Many thanks to the Chef for creating the main dish for us and the wonderful personal waiting on staff.

Dinner was great the service was amazing, our servers were Ceasarin and Mondo, the atmosphere was good we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, while attending a destination wedding

 Carlos Colli, the best waiter ever!
We went to Hard Rock Cancun March 1-8, 2016. We tried all of the restaurants, except Ipanema, and enjoyed Ciao so much that we had dinner there 3 times. The food was great, but the main reason we kept coming back was our waiter, Carlos Colli. He made us feel special each visit and the service was impeccable. I have been to Hard Rock Cancun at least 3 times and Carlos is my favorite waiter. Thank you for a great dining experience

Where do we start we stayed in the Hardrock Hotel which was the best holiday of our lives and ate everywhere in all restaurants but our favourite one by far was Ciao. Oh WOH!!!! The food was the nicest food ever the lamb was the nicest we've ever tasted in the world. The fillet steak, fries and pepper sauce was absolutely delicious, the carbonara the deserts (always with that extra special addition like a message on the plate or something just amazing) the staff are absolutely delightful, the nicest ever, the girls at reception so welcoming, always smiling and always so so friendly, all the staff are the same so truly amazing it really was the best service ever but the main special waiter we have to mention is Carlos Colli what aMazing service professional and friendly, This man should be given the award for the best waiter in the world, he was so friendly and so helpful, knew the menu inside out, always had a smile and a chat for us just made us feel special and like royalty and he does the same for everyone. We just can't say enough amazing things about him. We went back to the restaurant at least 8-10 times for the food and for Carlos and his award winning service... Please give this guy the biggest prize ever he deserves recognition for his 5* service, as it was effortless to be so nice, always so friendly helpful and kind definitely deserves no1 and Ciao definitely deserves no1 restaurant if it's not already. Honestly were back home in Ireland and already planning to go back and our first restaurant will be Ciao for that lamb and to Carlos. We always asked for him after that and he was always so accommodating even if he was busy. Totally amazing service and food 5stars all around this restaurant needs to be no1 everybody go there . Management went around to see hoe everything was (just again an added touch of perfection) thank you to Carlos and to the staff of Ciao for the best service in the world... World class service (oh my goodness we nearly forgot about the starter bread with a sprinkle of cheese on top, pesto and sundried tomatoe sauce on the side thee nicest bread ever and they gave you unlimited amounts if you wanted, even the soup was amazing oh we could just go on and on about this place... You need to try it THE BEST EVER 5* food with 5* service thanks Carlos

We had our breakfast buffet here every morning and asked for Diana to be our server. She provided great service and went above and beyond by bringing our group of 8 platters of different appetizers before we went to get our breakfast. She was great and had a great attitude.

 The most romantic restaurant in HRH Cancún
If you want a romantic dinner with your better half this is the place. Excelent service, delicious food and drinks to make it a night to remember.

My wife had Chicken Parmesan and took a photo, it looked spectacular. The shapes and the garnishes truly were a piece of culinary and visual art. Thank you Chef and thank you Oscar.

I had a wonderful dinner at Chao. The lemonchello chicken was divine! Oscar, the manager was so kind to me, the service was impeccable!

Virgilio is an excellent waiter with great attention to details. You will have wonderful food and service in Ciao thanks to Virgilio and Arial.

 Great food, long wait
The night we ate at Ciao we came in just after 2 very large parties, which meant we waited a long time between courses. The food itself was great, but the wait was extensive. 45 minutes between our salad and main entree. We arrived at 8:30 and didn't leave until after 10:30. That being said, the filet was incredible!

We had to wait twice as long as we were informed to get a table but the food was very good and there were many choices on the menu.

This resto is in the Hard Rock hotel. The look of it is fancy and the portions of food are perfect.The service is amazing, our waiter Damian, was there for everything we needed, and Alison, his assistant helped us out too.The entrees and the bowls of gourmet pasta they give you at the beginning of the meal are well-portioned.I suggest ordering the spaghetti Bolognese sauce, the salmon with artichoke toppings and the polenta appetizer.To conclude, this resto has a good look, the food is amazing and service is great.

My wife and I dined here three times during our stay in March 2014. Each time the service was prompt, attentative, however it didn't knock it out of the park. My wife loves Italian so this is why we ended up here they have a variety of food, but not as large a selection as you would get in an Italian restaurant in the US. We ended up having the Lasagna and various other foods. It wasn't anything I would send back, but if you have had Maggiano's in the US, don't expect anything close to that.

Brought appetizer out at same time as meal. On my wife's meals they brought out the wrong thing. And both meals were at best Luke warm not hot at all. They could have been setting around in the back for awhile. Not sue why because the restaurant was not crowded

 Two Very Different Experiences
Ciao is an Italian restaurant located on the right side of the lobby at Hark Rock Hotel.My family and I went 4 times for breakfast, which was a very nice buffet. We went to dinner two times, but each time was very different. The first night, I ordered the alfredo. It was tasty, but the sauce was WAY too thick. If you are on a diet like me, this is not likely the dish for you. For dessert, mousse, one of my all-time favorites, appeared on the menu. Apparently, mousse in Mexico is gelatinous cream, unlike its American cousin. I was not thrilled, as I am not a huge fan of that texture. The service was well, though. The second night was worse, though. Not to complain a lot, but the service here was really bad. The menu had changed, as we visited 4 days after the first time. Instead of doing my mother's order correctly, (a bowl of buttered pasta with a side of eggplant, which is usually a main dish) she received 3 tiny pieces of eggplant and no pasta. By that point, we just left. Ciao was a disappointment, I do not think we will be returning soon.
