So walking around in Cancun made me crave ice cream..thankfully we ran into Haagen Daz which alone is amazing ice cream...HOWEVER!.. The secret is that a lot of ice cream shops which we have in US are totaly DIFFERENT outside of US! Meaning they carry items you will NEVER see in the US.... simply because we suck! So go in and open a menu and you will enjoy anything and everything you get...the best Ice Cream I've had in YEARS! Customer service is a little slow, they had one guy working when I got there and it took him a while to make my ice cream but it was worth it, plus they have a great seating area ..so enjoy!

Haagen Daz icecream is always great no matter where you buy it... but for some strange reason it was most expensive in Cancun than any where else I have bought it..I bought the waffle cone which was more like a chocolate waffle cone ( and wow it tasted great) it was my first time trying such a cone..I asked for 2 scopes but when I heard the price I had to ask that one scope be taken out the cone because it was almost 9usd...I was really amazed to see that they actually scooped it out right back in the container...It's great icecream but too pricey

Coconut Ice Cream is my favorite... hard to get the real deal in the hotel zone. Go downtown to Tulum Avenue or take the ferry over to Isla Mujeres and visit the local ice cream shops.

Good variety of ice cream but the set up was kind of strange. There is a hostess podium outside that nobody seems to see. When you walk into the store to look at the case to choose your ice cream you are chased down by a waiter. It is very confusing about whom you are supposed to pay. Perhaps this would work when it is busy but I felt obligated to leave a tip for someone who only brought me my bill.

The service and product were acceptable but the scoops are not really scoops. They roll the ice cream into the scoop so that you dont get a full. scoop. Check the inside of the scoop next time and you will a big old void. We asked for more ice cream because of this and to their credit they complied.

Being a weakling for anything chocolate, I decided to try their Chocolate fondue. Big mistake!The fruit and side ice creams that accompanied the fondue were all ok; however, the chocolate fondue was a joke - it did not taste well at all. Add to it that it was super expensive ~$35, I dont suggest anyone order it...Fair warning!! This is from someone who is addicted to chocolate!Just stick to the expensive ice cream; it comes in small, tiny portions - but at least its consistently good.
