Limoncello, Cancun

 Amazing meal and service
We had a party of 8 on Thanksgiving. We all grew up on Italian Food so for us this was a real treat. Service was really spot on, our server Elias did a terrific job. We all LOVED our food and experience here. We will be back on our next visit to Cancun. I would classify this as Fine Dining with a moderate price tag.

 Dear Lord! How haven't you been here yet???!
I rarely get this excited over a restaurant where I feel compelled to write a review. But this place, dammmnnn!!! My husband came here ten years ago while vacationing with his friends and I remember him going on and on about this place. He had no remembrance of this btw. When we booked our first trip to Cancun together it was immediately on the list. After our dinner he remembered why he boasted about it so long ago, and I have now found my favorite restaurant (so far!) in Cancun. The food was 5 stars all the way, and this is coming from two Italian-Americans who are used to their mom's home made sauce and cooking. The food style here is definitely more authentic Italian as opposed to American-Italian, so sauces are not cooked long and more marinara based, as opposed to meat based and simmered for 6 hours. Once you accept that, you are in for a treat! We got the mozzarella cooked table-side that we were basically orgasming over. It's a must! We also shared the meatballs and a Cesar salad which were both amazing as well. Cesar is made table-side as well and done to perfection. Dinner was pasta and pizza and although not our favorite part of dinner, was still fabulous, but the apps were the star of the show.We are staying at the Hyatt Zilara across the street which is all-inclusive and also known for its great food. However they do not have an Italian restaurant here (their loss) and they should consider giving out passes to this place so everyone can experience a great Italian meal during their holiday. Our server Jamie was amazing, he was always there and anticipated what we needed without being overbearing, exactly what a good waiter does. We never had to ask for water either. I drink a lot of water and it's a huge pet peeve of mine when my glass goes empty, which if you've read other reviews of mine I'm sure you've seen me go off about that. Service here was too attentive here to let that happen. So overall I had absolutely no guilt spending money on food at a different restaurant while we are getting it free at the resort. Our bill was around $130 for the two of us, which included 4 vodka drinks (2 of them doubles) 4 appetizers and 2 entrees. In my opinion, berry reasonable for the amount of food we ordered. We will likely make a second visit while here! If you like great Italian food at reasonable prices with amazing service and an incredibly diverse menu, then what are you waiting for?

 Fabulous Restaurant!!
We were craving Italian, and this restaurant did not disappoint...in fact, it exceeded every expectation. The setting is right over the water on the lagoon, with a soft breeze and reflected light, so it is very romantic. Our Caprese salad that was prepared tableside was unbelievable and very interesting to watch the cheese being made. My husband had the seafood linguine with a vodka cream sauce, and he says it’s one of his top five meals of all time. My spaghetti Bolognese was yummy. Our waiter Jaime was professional, experienced, and provided just the right amount of attention. The only bummer tonight was that we did not get to see any crocodiles! But we are so happy that it is early on in our vacation, because we will certainly be coming again before we leave Cancun.

Had a great meal here last night. Pizza very good. Chicken Parmigiana and lasagna both excellent. Great atmosphere & service.

 Fantastic view
Visited here in November 2017. Great dinner and lovely view. The wait staff was particularly helpful in making a selection. Nearly every table is by the water. Moderately priced for a nice evening out.

 Unbelievable place!!!Best food and service at Cancun! Regresaría mil veces
On our final day at Cancun we wanted to enjoy and special dinner and we did the search many good reviews about this place so we decided to check it out. Indeed the place is just amazing , so beautiful!!! Elias Pastrana was taking care of us at our table he is just the best, he was asking questions about our visit and we mention we were celebrating our anniversary at the end of the night he brought a "happy anniversary" dessert for no cost I was surprised and very pleased. Elias, the waiters ( Jose Luis ), and the cook our Salvadoran friend who made one of the most amazing food that I ever have made that night unbelievable. I even took the time to write this long review. We ordered 1 entree, 2 plates, 1 jar of sangria for $103 USD tip incluided definitely worth it for a special night.

 Great meal and experience
Jimmy and Bernardo complimented the excellent food with excellent service. The fresh Ceaser salad made in front of you was a highlight. Along with the baked eggplant and chicken parmigiana. We were in Cancun for a week and went here twice.

 Our favorite restaurant in Cancun!
They specialize in Italian food that is excellent. Across the bay (by walk ways) is Lorenzello's - same owners and is seafood. The atmosphere in Limoncello's is amazing - very beautiful interior. All of the wait staff is excellent - our favorite waiter is Antonio who is terrific.It is built out over the bay - if you are lucky towards the evening you may see a crocodile come in.We have been there many times and never disappointed.

My wife found this place based on Yelp reviews. The concierge at our hotel, Westin Lagunamar Ocean Resort Villas & Spas, made reservations for us. I came with my wife, sister-in law and her husband.We had:La vera mozzarella capresse - Mozazarella cheese, tomato, basil and extra virgin olive oil. Was delicious.Insalata Caesar - Chopped fresh cos lettuce in our classic and original Caesar dressing prepared table side. We enjoyed.Pollo Parmigiana - Breaded chicken breast topped with homemade tomato sauce and grated mozzarella, served with spaghetti. Sister-in-law enjoyed this dish.Ossobucco di Vitello - Veal shank, oven baked in its own gravy with Barolo wine, tomatoes and herbs, served with fettuccine. I loved veal shank; was able to get some of the marrow out which was delicious.Gnocchi di patate a tuo piacere - Potato dumpling served with your choice of bolognese, gorgonzola or pomodoro sauce. My wife enjoyed the gnocchi.Spaghetti alla bolognese - Spaghetti with bolognese meat sauce and tomato with a touch of cream and meatballs made with pork, chicken and beef.Unfortunately no room for desert this time.The restaurant is located by the water; wonderful and intimate. The service was attentive and efficient, Giraldo was our server and his assistant was helpful and very pleasant. Once you finished a dish all the plates and silverware were cleared and new plates and silverware are set and we didn't have to ask for refills. The food was excellent, everyone agreed this was an amazing meal. If you are looking for an Italian resturant I would definitley recommend.

This is the place to eat in Cancun!! We ate here two nights in a row it was soooo good! The service we received is beyond compare. We ordered the tomato, basil, mozzarella appetizer was made table side and it was the best cheese we have ever had. The gnocchi with Gorgonzola sauce is to die for, as well as the pumpkin ravioli, short ribs, risotto, prosciutto wrapped pears...everything we ate was absolutely wonderful! Eat here you won't be disappointed!

 Rehearsal dinner...
We enjoyed an excellent dinner after my daughter’s wedding rehearsal last week. We started with. The table side prepared Caesar salad, skirt steak, and flan. All of which were nicely presented and delicious! The pleasant environment and service made this a special evening.
