this is by far the most popular resturant in le blanc . so reservations are required and no shorts etc ( thank goodness)ec Excellent menu , and again staff are great .. the lobster is xtra charge but worth it.

We were a little intimated by the menu, we are not foodies, I am a chicken girl. Our waiter Manny was there for suggestions and he was dead on! We started escargot raviolis, which sound funny but were delicious. The artichoke soup was to die for, I could have stopped there. We had beef for an an entree, which was cooked perfectly. For dessert we trusted Manny and had a caramel thing...just trust him.

Lumiere is the premier restaurant in the all inclusive Le Blanc hotel. The menu items vary but cover all tastes: seafood, meat, vegetarian with an extensive wine list. Diners can choose either ala carte or from a chef's tasting menu. Regardless of choice, we found the preparations to be excellent and the service to be flawless.

 Best Artichoke Soup Out There!!!
My husband and I went here this past week on our honeymoon. Manny (Manuel) took amazing care of us. I honestly don't think we have ever met somebody so incredibly accommodating. We went back two nights later before we left. To be honest, we loved their food, but we also wanted to have another dining experience with Manny. He made such an impression and truly took our experience to another level. I can't give this man enough kudos! The chocolate soufflé and artichoke soup are two of the best things about this place. They have perfectly portioned bread rolls. Outstanding service, food and overall experience!

While staying at Le Blanc resort and spa, we took the opportunity to dine at Lumiere. The experience was perfect! Definitely, take the time to dine here a couple times, the al a cart menu is fantastic and the recommendations by the staff was perfect! They were also able to work with my wife's allergy to dairy products without impacting the tastes! Nice job!I would recommend the chefs tasting menu along with the wine pairings. You don't need to go outside the house wines, the extra charge wines are a great offering but not necessary.Enjoy!

While staying at the Le Blanc we ate here a few times as quite simply it is the best restaurant here. The food is exceptional, so well cooked and presented on the plate. The flavours of the different dishes were wonderful and we kept wondering how did they think to put those ingredients together!!! As one of us had coeliac disease they also could not do enough to modify each dish so we could experience the range of options they had on offer. In addition they also ensured that they created some additional desserts that were gluten free. To top that the service was amazing. From the warm greeting of the ladies at the entrance, to all the waiters who plyed you with drink, bread and food. On that note we must mention Caesar, who waited on us most times and was so helpful, friendly, and really seemed to enjoy the satisfaction we had on loving our dinner! Then you add in the chef who came out to see us to check everything was to our satisfaction. Finally the manager, Victor, who was knowledgeable, professional and witty! He was someone who understood allergies, and the issues they cause and is always looking to improve the experience for ALL his customers. And Victor every time Jacki gets offered only fruit for dessert in other restaurants as unlike yours they did not think to give her some gluten free options, I will remember you!

The food is excellent. The service fantastic. The beef was perfect. On Valentine Day, we were served special chocolate shuffle with a champagne chocolate center. Enjoy the meal and expect to stay for a coulee hours.

Food is wonderful, service too. You can only eat here if you are staying at Le Blanc. If you are lucky enough to be staying at Le Blanc, reserve your dinner(s) at Lumiere before you arrive or you will have a hard time getting the time you want. Lamb, Beef, Salmon, Chicken -- all fantastic.

From the minute we walked in the door greeted by the Hostess Corina, served by our Waiter Marco and chicken by the Manager Victor this place is PURE CLASSY....decor, ambience, etc....

Lumiere offers french style food with a tasting menu or a la carte. There are many wonderful options for carnivores and vegetarians alike. The rolls are delicious. Each course had new tastes and the arrangement of the food on the plate was like a work of art. Our server was attentive and helpful in suggesting wine pairings.

The food is different enough for an "experience" but normal enough for even picky eaters. Great option.

By far the best option at LeBlanc....Victor is the most helpful and we thank him for his hospitality, the Lobster and Rack of Lamb is great. The chocolate dome dessert....fantastic.

Ate here twice and each time was a delicious experience. They offer an extensive tasting menu with paired wines which was too much for me but choices otherwise were many of the same. Escargot ravioli was one of the appetizers. Beef tenderloin was one of the offerings for land lovers and salmon for seafood lovers. Desserts were mostly chocolate with beautiful presentations.

We could also upgrade to 'premium' wines. Not doing so was a mistake as otherwise you get the resorts standard wines which are not up to much.The service did not improve. Course would arrive with no wine, or wine 10 minutes before food. This is supposed to be wine and food pairings - and when the food is only a couple of bites I am not going to wait 5 minutes for the wine to arrive.Some of the courses were well below par. If you are going to do a small portion tasting menu then each dish has to be exquisite. Some flavor combinations were bizarre and ingredient quality too low. Almost as if someone had thought this fine dining business is easy just throw a small portion of food on an odd shaped plate and voila. The staff all seemed to be on edge. It was like they knew this place was lauded as the 'special one' but they also knew it wasn't. It was the only time throughout our time at Le Blanc where service was a let down. Given how many staff and how high the level of service was at the other restaurants at the resort its really difficult to understand how this could be so wrong.Really they should close this down and think again.Having said all this it should not put you off staying at Le Blanc, both the Italian and Asian restaurants are really really good. Food was the same generic food as every other restaurant at Le Blanc. They have a gluten free menu and they told us that things marked on the menu as gluten free were not in fact gluten free and items on the menu that were not marked as gluten free were. They obviously have no idea what gluten free means. Needless to say the food made us sick.

They obviously have no idea what gluten free means. Needless to say the food made us sick.
