Maria Marie Restaurant, Cancun

 Perfection!!!
Six couples. Seven days. Are here three of those nights! Marco and Ahmed were so awesome and knowledgeable! The best wait staff ever! The food was delicious! We wanted for NOTHING! We wanted to take them both home with us! Maria Marie + Marco & Ahmed=Perfect!

 Amazing upscale dinner
Hostess, manager, servers were all great. The dinner was beyond amazing. They kept the wine and water flowing.

I love going to Maria Marie. The food is excellent with a lot of choices and the employees go out of their way to accommodate you and make sure you get excellent service.

 All Inclusive Indulgence
As with any All Inclusive hotel, it's almost embarrassing when you can order anything as well as almost any kind of liquor too. The service is exceptional as well as the food. It's not Vegas Buffett. It's actually excellent. Ensure you try the bar and some Mezcal and talk to the bartender about tequilas. You'll be happy you did.

We dined at Maria Marie on our final evening of our vacation. The restaurant was able to accommodate our group of 10 guests easily and provided us with exceptional service. Our wait staff, Ahmed and Mario were very attentive and offered us several great menu suggestions. They definitely added a great experience to our family meal. I would highly recommend this restaurant for couples or groups. The food was fantastic and was the favorite restaurant at the resort.

Travel to Hyatt Zilara twice a year and always look forward to dining at Maria Marie...as a New Yorker an frequent diner..the food at this restaurant is as good as what you would expect in NY. The lamb chops are superb !!

A very nice selection of Mexican gourmet dishes and friendly service . We loved the Camarones Enchipotlados, Caesar salad, and souflee for dessert.

This restaurant has two parts to it-- and we ate in both.The main restaurant mostly regular food fixed with Mexican flairs although there are some Mexican staples on the menu. They also serve each table with a variety of Mexican appetizers-- little fried tacos, guacamole, etc. Nice wine list--but be careful as some are an extra charge !!I had a lamb dish and my wife had fish-- both excellent.The other venue here is a Cantina with a small bar. Here it is a fixed menu of a variety of classic Mexican small plates ( mostly local Yucatan dishes) which they serve one at a time. And, they explain each one-- very interesting and an excellent array of flavors!

We just got done having dinner at Maria Maria, and this place did not disappoint. Our waiter "Raul", was an outstanding host while he thoroughly addressed all of our requests while also offering up several OUTSTANDING options. We finished the dinner with an unbelievable show as he created the "Mayan Coffee". If you haven't tried it.... it's a MUST. The show Raul put on was priceless. Did I mention the food was also unbelievable? This is definitely our "go-to" going forward whenever we visit the Hyatt Zilara. The show was so good, people would walk over and ask, "what is he making?" Raul was such a great waiter, I had to pull the manager aside and make mention of his service. Great Job Raul! You are the reason I will return.

We love the modern Mexican approach here. The building itself is beautiful, with colourful murals on the inside and wonderful heavy wrought iron grates and candelabras. Start with a plate of Mexican appetizers -- Yum! The whole dinner was delicious, and special requests are taken without hesitation. Fantastic service and quality modern gourmet dining. We splurged on dessert of chocolate cake and ice cream with flamed sauce of Mezcal and Kahlua. Raul put on quite a show, pouring the flaming liquid back and forth in small metal pitchers before pouring some on each of our desserts. Fantastico!

This Mexican restaurant at Hyatt Zilara Cancun, was my favorite place to eat at while staying at the resort. My husband and I went there for two of our meals, and enjoyed it very much!The queso was one of our favorite things there, but all of the food was delicious. It is all you can eat, of course, and so you can order more than one app or entree in order to try different things.Portion sizes are perfect, as they are not too big or small in my opinion, and that also makes it great for getting multiple items to try for the table.It is a very cute place, and they also have live music some nights as well. Overall- a great experience and wonderful service!

This is the best Lamb Chops I have ever eaten. You will not be disappointed. I do not like a wild taste so I was hesitant but the gentlemen told me I would not be disappointed and I was not. I hope I can find them again in the US. BEST Service..

we relied on the guys to suggest typical mexican food and it came up trumps,the mescal and tequila were way better than we get at home and a welcome surprise, thanks to everyone including the mariachi band for singing to my wife it made her night

Food is delicious and service is excellent (Christian will treat you well)! Lamb chops, salmon both right on target along with the melted cheese.

 40 year retirement celebration
Stayed at Hyatt Zilira for 10 days and chose Maria Marie for dinner. Menu choices great and waiters new the nuances of each meal choice. Drinks and wine service with the meals and their were very interesting Mexican choices, not Tex Mex as we in the states are used to. Great service and definitely will repeat the experience.

Steaks are cooked to perfection and the soufflé is awesome. Do not hesitate to visit this restaurant.

Its definitely worth the stop if you have the chance.

 Good Margaritas - bad food
Unremarkable food. They brought some appetizer plate with a bunch of cold deep fried stuff on it. Entrees were tepid and covered in questionable sauce. As I said the Margaritas were great! Go for the drinks - not the food.
