Fun place with great food. Its where tom cruise made cocktail !!! Live entertainment. Highly recommend

 That Guac!
If you're looking for the best authentic Mexican cuisine in Cancun, this is it! My first night in Cancun with the family, we were recommended by our hotel to go to this restaurant. Best choice! Great tacos! That guac, yum! They prepared the guacamole in front of you using fresh ingredients. I also loved the fresh squeezed lemonade! recommended for those hot summer nights in Cancun. The service was great! specially our server, Gilberto. Always on top of things to see if we needed something else and bringing more nachos to the table. Keep 'em coming! When you order drinks, it's a complete show. I don't know how they balance those big drinks on top of their head and dance at the same time! What a fun first night in Cancun!

 Fantastic service and amazing food!
Luis Arturo was our waiter and he was amazing. He recommended a fantastic Mexican dish for us to share accompanied by a tequila tasting platter and yummy cocktails. Luis was very friendly and we had such a fun time with great tasting food.

 Authentic !!
This place has delicious local food. Prices are very reasonable. Staff is super friendly. Weekends with lively music. But sometimes, their tourist animation is a bit over the top.

My friends and I were given a free app card by someone so we decided to check out Mextreme. Upon arriving they had awesome live music and the atmosphere has a very friendly vibe. The servers and bus boys were happy and moving to the music. We saw out the corner of the eye our server Victoria bringing out a Margarita on her head and she was dancing!!! Say what?!?!? We couldn't wait to place our order. She came out dancing with two margaritas on her head. I ordered a Tamarind margarita it was amaaaazzzziiing!!! We ordered our food and were all super satisfied. Great portion size and a lot of meat. We all ordered tacos! Mextremem was an experience due Victoria's amazing service. They made us come up and dance with them. They even played a really cool Mexican game with us. Thanks Mextremem for a positive first night out in Cancun.

My family and I had a wonderful dinner. My sons each had the fish tacos, my husband had the panuchos, and I had the cochinita pibil. Everything was simply exquisite and fresh. While dining, mariachi were playing. Overall calm and nice dining experience.

My husband and I have been coming to visit Cancun for the past seven years. MexTreme is ALWAYS on our itinerary. The food, entertainment and staff are GREAT!The manager, Emilio, is a fantastic and kind man.He always remembers us! Although he may not remember our names, he immediately recognizes my husband because they have the same haircut! Looking forward to visiting Emilio and his staff at MexTreme in 2018!

 Excellent Food
Excellent food and nice atmosphere - The taste was delicious - Try "Cochinita Pibil" The attention was good, but it could have been better, and we found a little expensive compared with other restaurants in the zone.

 Lunch
We had taco tray with a side of beans. I have never had beans that delicious before. I would highly recommend them. The pastor meat tacos were fabulous also. The staff was very attentive and the restaurant manger came over to make sure we were pleased with everything. And we certainly were.

On the recommendation from reception at our hotel and tripadvisor reviews we went to Mextreme for dinner. Gilberto was our waiter and was charming. We each had two classic margaritas and dinner. They have a unique drink delivery system... On the waiter's head. I had Aztec soup and house enchiladas with mixed sauce. My husband had charo beans and pork. Both meals were very good. For both the food and service i would recommend Mextereme.

 Authentic Mexican Flavor
Enjoyed my food but not so much the flavor of the drinks. If you want authentic Mexican flavors and great prices , then this is the place you want to come. My food was so delicious . My boyfriend had the big platter with different meats and every single one was great. The waiter who brings the drinks over balances two big margarita glasses on her head! Pure talent .

We went here for lunch on a Saturday. We had the Taco Party platter for 2, probably could have fed 3, all was delicious and there were more items on the menu I would have liked to try. Generous drinks as well. Well worth a stop.

We ended up in here for drinks and after seeing the food coming out and enjoying the atmosphere we returned a few nights later for dinner. The service is excellent and the food delicious. The waiters bring drinks on their heads sometimes stacked up to 5 cocktails high, there was live music the second time we were there. It is also very reasonably priced. We shared a starter, 2 mains, 1 desert, 1 litre of beer and 3 cocktails and it only came to about £40.

Loved the food, our waiter was incredible (Alfredo). Drinks were gianormous and the general vibe was warm, welcoming, fun and friendly.

We went to have a breakfast and to have a lunch. Great attendance, quality foods and drinks. We loved the dessert because is so good and bigger than the picture. The Restaurant os meses from the Coco Bongo and from many stores and other restaurants.

 Great place for drinks and food
The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. It's affordable and fun. The bring your drinks on their head. The weather was beautiful so sitting outside was perfect. I would go back in a heartbeat. If you want food outside your resort go here and don't let anyone talk you out of it! I'll go back to Cancun just to go here.

I would like to say our service by Alfredo was an amazing! He went above and beyond to accommodate all of our needs and made my birthday celebration one to never forget! The food was amazing and the drinks were even better!

We visited this restaurant on 10/14/17. We were looking for really good, authentic Mexican food in a fun, festive environment. This place nailed it! Prices were fair, service was on point and flavor was outstanding! Easy to find right off the beaten path of the hotel zone. Highly recommend the carnitas tacos!

 Fantastic food - amazing drinks!
Our first night in Cancun (Saturday, October 7), the hotel recommended this spot as we were at Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach - right around the corner. easy enough to find & a quick walk. David was our server, and he was great. He modified our orders for our kids as requested - my son wanted the grilled cheese pot, but chorizo on the side - my daughter wanted the chicken/cheese burrito without the bell peppers, I wanted NOTHING with cilantro on it. He didn't give us grief, took our orders with a smile. Husband and I split the Mexican grill platter for 2 - basically an ENORMOUS plate of food with all kinds of grilled meats. DELICIOUS!! There were some veggies too to roll up in tortillas. Yum.We started with the mango mojito. OMG. SO GOOD. That was what we thought until I ordered the original mojito. Outstanding. They are HUGE, they are STRONG, and they are DELICIOUS! They do pack a punch, so I suggest only 1 :-)Kids were begging to go back again, David told us his nights off, and we ended up going back on Wednesday, and found out David was off that night. Our waiter that night was equally attentive & they were kind to switch our grill order when I realized I ordered the Mixed grill, but thought I was ordering the Mexican grill (Mixed has fish/seafood - of which I am allergic), so totally my fault, but they were very kind & put in the order I originally wanted. I was very appreciative of that! They have waiters dance here & there, which was cute. The first night, they dragged my husband & daughter to dance, they enjoyed that & my son enjoyed videoing it! The all have pretty good heads too - we have a picture of a waiter carrying 3 cocktails & a beer ON HIS HEAD!! Sure, it's kitchsy, but so much fun!The food really was delightful - you will NOT leave hungry (if you do, it's your fault)!! I highly recommend it - especially for the cocktails!

We ordered the breakfast special, 120 Pesos, eggs, hash browns, pancakes, juice or fruit. Unfortunately, on this day they didn't have OJ, they said the oranges were not juicy. The fresh fruit was good. The coffee was also good. The service was a little on the slow side.

 Surprisingly good!
We walked in here because there were no aggressive vendors outside and great Yelp reviews. This place had unexpectedly good taste, meaning an authentic flare and the servers are good at explaining what may be too authentic for your taste without offending you lol. We had the mole`, enchiladas, guacamole, and carnitas. Someone complained that it was not spicy enough for the other review, but I don't think you guys need to change anything. I feel westernized Mexican food has gone too spicy nowadays and I notice it every time coming to Mexico. All of the Americans at the hotels and restaurant keep asking for more hot sauce, and salt. Anyways, atmosphere is fun, servers are efficient, professional, and friendly. Glad we came here. I have pictures to post, but will have to try from my phone app if it lets me.

 Coupons
The lunch we had here was good, but the breakfast was mediocre, so the coupons weren't worth it. The hotel buffet was more expensive by about $75MXN, but worth the extra cost.

We ate there breakfast twice, dishes were fresh and tasty. Noticed just at the second time that the large number of amount is including service, they calculated extra service but you couldn't see it so we gave double tip and I think customer should know it.

 Weekend in Cancun
No matter where we stay in Cancun, we always go to Mextreme for a cold beer and great food. We love to sit in the bikini bottom bar stools. It is a great place and the staff are always so friendly.

Saw this place on Trip advisor and took a chance on it. It was well worth it. The atmosphere was superb. I would have given this the highest rating but one thing I don't like is to sit with a empty beer bottle for a considerable amount if time. I thought the waiter would check on me, but I guess he ight have been too busy. anyways I brought it up to his attention and had to remind him that I still hadnt got my beer yet.I thought about getting it myself from the bar but thought it would have been rude. I want to drink my beer!, Overall its a great place to unwind from the Cancun Sun!

 Memorable Dual Birthday Celebration
My family and I went there twice during our vacation. The food was very good - my Cochinita Pibil was magnificent - and I would have considered five stars, but they were out of their special guacamole both times. This is a problem for me. The drinks - get the frozen margaritas - were the best we found anywhere. Our second visit, which was my daughter's and my birthday, was incredibly festive and fun due to the antics and balance of Victoria. She had all of us laughing and celebrating. We enjoyed our conversations with her, both in Spanish and English.

This is your go to place for breakfast in Cancun. Easy access from bus, as it's on Kukulcan Ave, Punta Cancun. If you're coming from south of Punta Cancun, be aware that you should get off at Coco Bongo or Forum Mall and walk over to the other Kukulcan Ave, the one for for southbound buses. It's a short walk. We've had the Mextreme Enchiladdas and omelette with bacon and cherizo, that they're both excellent. We've also been there for dinner, also very good. Prices are reasonable. Added bonus--if you go to the Forum public beach, you just have to walk over to the southbound Kukulcan Ave (across from McDonald's), and you're right there.

Do not visit this restaurant, Mexicans get discriminated in the USA but also at this restaurant, servers will prefer to serve Caucasians as a priority, early in the morning for breakfast my boyfriend received his food and I had to wait 30 minutes as I observed a Caucasian couple receive exactly what I ordered hmmmm...and they had arrived 10 minutes after us. Of course I paid for my drinks and walked out of there.

I ate there for dinner this evening. Nowhere in the realm of understanding can I figure out WHY this place has 4.5 stars. This is the last time I trust TripAdvisor. The food is mediocre, not authentic. The waiters' service was good. But they are very focused on dancing and carrying drinks on their heads which could be fun if you're with kids. My reason for writing this review is that after I finished eating, I immediately felt ill. I had 3 tacos from the party taco platter. I thought maybe I ate too much even though it didn't seem like it. Now, hours later, I'm being woken up with stomach pains and to spend the night on the toilet. Their food safety standards are obviously lacking. I hope they write some silly copy and pasted response to me saying to come back and visit so I can get a laugh!

We ate here after reading the positive Trip Advisor reviews, unfortunately it didn't live up to what we expected. I can't fault the staff as they were very attentive, however the food was really quite dreadful. We had the guacamole to start with, which was nice but nothing special. My friend and I then shared the beef quesadillas and enchiladas, both of which tasted awful. We weren't sure if it was the beef or cheese in the quesadillas, but something didn't taste right. The enchiladas were better but tasted as if the sauce was out of a tin and the tortillas were very soggy. I don't think we'll be returning.
