Delicious Baklava
We really enjoyed our meal here. My husband had the filet which was excellent. I had the chicken shwarma, it was good as well. The appetizers were delicious. What I loved the most was the baklava! Delish!

Who would have thought this solo traveler would find such a gem at a high rise hotel?Perched on the western bay side of the majestic Secrets The Vine Cancun resort hotel sits a Mediterranean oasis of culinary wizardry. I found my way to the twelfth floor alfresco venue as the sun was setting, lighting up the sky with purple and pink hues.Those of you who know and follow me are already savvy to my strict sattvic vegan style. This is not the easiest of challenges for a chef to rise to.Upon arriving I was lovingly interviewed by manager Melissa and Chef Mary Jo. They took the time to get to know all the subtle nuances of my likes and dislikes as well as food allergies. The compassion and understanding they showed was overwhelming.Their kindness allowed me to let go and just trust that everything was clear and the challenge accepted.What followed was a meal so delicious, I vowed to eat there each and every night during my week long stay. I have been nothing short of completely amazed. The textures, flavors and artistic plating inspire me to take pictures and write to share this with you. Chef Mary Jo is an artist with spices, color and form. Her ability to create a smokey flavor and perfect textures. Exquisite evening
March 25,2015 We visited OLIO restaurant . The Food was excellent ,but more also the exquisite service that we received from Ulises Cristo Diaz. He speaks English fluently which make it more pleasant to converse with him.We definitely coming back next week before we leave Playa Del Carmen.

Great service... We came back
The manager Ermigdio Captain was very polite to my wife and I. He made sure we had everything we needed on the beach and at the restaurant, which was amazing. Great quality food. Quality not quantity. Dishes are small but delicious.

Let me tell you about the experience, the hostess Perla meet us at the entrance and you can see when someone is proud to get work at a place because she knows its not only the food, its the experience. She suggest us the better dishes with great expertisse and genuine warm like when a dear friend suggest you something. Then Carlos was at our table the man is a real multitasking combining fast and accurate service along with the time to hear you, to really listen to your needs and expectations. Also I have a gluten allergy, and the chef Mery Joe took the time to make adjustments to the menu so I could taste the food. Long story made short, this is a place in wich you'll be taken care not only by professionals, but for one big family who are there really for you with this superb service and great food.

Pleasant experience
On March 1, 2014 my wife and I hosted 2 other couples for dinner and drinks at the Olio in Cancun. We were all very pleased with the pleasant atmosphere, great food and exceptional service from both our waiter, Erayde, and our cocktail waitress before dinner, Camilla. Both of these individuals were exceptional in their service and this was our last evening in Cancun. Our previous meals and service did not meet this high level of quality.

We were treated to a very special dinner at Olio´s, in the Secrets the Vine, Hotel. The manager, Jose Luis, was told that it was our Anniversary, and our waiter, Enrique, gave us extra special attention. Although we may not have been the biggest fan of food, as it was good, but not our favorite, our waiter Fransisco was great! He made sure our drinks were always filled, super quick to accommodate an of our requests, and it was only his first day! Thanks for a great experience overall, Fransisco!

Olio restaurant which is located in Secrets, The Vine is a Mediterranean cuisine that has great, tasty food with fabulous views! Our waiter Javier was superb and we could not have asked for best service. He was friendly and welcoming, and very helpful when it came to dessert. Sublime and delisioso!
Who would have thought this solo traveler would find such a gem at a high rise hotel?Perched on the western bay side of the majestic Secrets The Vine Cancun resort hotel sits a Mediterranean oasis of culinary wizardry. I found my way to the twelfth floor alfresco venue as the sun was setting, lighting up the sky with purple and pink hues.Those of you who know and follow me are already savvy to my strict sattvic vegan style. This is not the easiest of challenges for a chef to rise to.Upon arriving I was lovingly interviewed by manager Melissa and Chef Mary Jo. They took the time to get to know all the subtle nuances of my likes and dislikes as well as food allergies. The compassion and understanding they showed was overwhelming.Their kindness allowed me to let go and just trust that everything was clear and the challenge accepted.What followed was a meal so delicious, I vowed to eat there each and every night during my week long stay. I have been nothing short of completely amazed. The textures, flavors and artistic plating inspire me to take pictures and write to share this with you. Chef Mary Jo is an artist with spices, color and form. Her ability to create a smokey flavor and perfect textures.
