Pelicanos is a nice restaurant at Hotel Zilara. It sits on the beach and offers a diverse menu as well as great drinks. A very casual fun lunch or dinner.

Pelicanos was our favorite restaurant at Hyatt Zilara. The waterfront view, the wind, the FOOD! So delicious. The the service was impeccable.

 Excellent Food and Service!
We stayed at the Hyatt Zilara in late January and ate at Pelicanos on a couple of occasions. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. You can't beat the ocean view either! I really enjoyed the shrimp tacos, coconut shrimp, and grilled chicken sandwich. The drink service was very fast and your glass was never empty.

 Our favorite out door spot!
After a morning in the sun, Pelicanos is a great stop for lunch. We love sitting outside with a great view of the ocean and a nice breeze. The food is great too!

pool side and ocean view. Never a wait for table. Pizza at lunch was very and coconut shrimp was great. Serve was always top notch.

We dined at Pelicanos everyday! Loved being outside by the ocean and the staff is amazing!! (Omar, Alberto and Roberto ***** Five star servers!!) I'm not sure who the chef was there but her food was always delicious and done to perfection!

 Excellent Food and Service!

 Fantastic, even in a storm!
This is always our first night restaurant when we go to Hyatt Zilara. A large section of it is right on the water, and it is lovely! On this particular evening, the staff were nothing less than heroic when a giant storm -- with HUGE winds and torrential rains -- began quite suddenly. They moved us all inside and carried all the tables to dry spots under the canopy. Dinner was, as always, delicious. They made guacamole for me even though it's only on the menu at lunch, and when I asked for half and half grilled shrimp and ribeye, that, too, was no problemo. Seafood and meat cooked to perfection. Veggies done, but still crunchy. The fajitas, too, were excellent. Good for any meal, drinks, whatever!

This is the most relaxed of the restaurants on the property (I think). You are sitting outside, looking at the beautiful ocean. The wait staff is patient and very attentive. Food is great.

Our group of 6 went in for breakfast and I was very happy that I could basically make up my own without going off the menu. Edgar down in the swim up bar of Pelicanos made the absolute best drinks for us! This restaurant was part of our all inclusive package with Hyatt Zilara resort.

Oscar, Hugo, & Julian were all great. Fish tacos & the Salmon in coconut sauce were beyond amazing at lunch. For dinner, I had the cheesy rice & shrimp, it was the best meal! AMAZING! My husband had a ribeye & we were expecting small & sub-par, but NO, it was huge & cooked perfect. It melted in your mouth. Our favorite restaurant when it comes to food.

We love out doors so this was perfect place , eaten here quite a lot food great we loved it more at night . Staff so friendly and funny too . One night we ordered a Cowboy steak for 2 it was yummy . We tried breakfast here and lunches too . Thanks

One of our favorites here! Normally we had lunch here and several times dinner.Staff is friendly and attentive. The menu is varied from classic Mexican to fish or steak dishes. We particularly liked the soups, shrimp cocktail, fish tacos, and fish and steaks!!And always a breeze, and great views up and down the beach!

We ate here many times breakfast through dinner. Many options to satisfy any palate. For breakfast, design you own omelette or have eggs fried to your specification. For dinner, pick a steak (rib eye, new york, kobi), ahi tuna, pasta bar, fresh seafood. Very good!

 NO Sarongs
For an outdoor pool restaurant you need to have clothes. Meaning a full beach cover up!!!! The food and service was very good there.The Beet salad was my favorite

Food is good but view is spectacular. Wonderful view of the turquoise ocean. Service is top notch with attentive wait staff.

We went to have both dinner and lunch at this seafood restaurant at the resort. I would say this is the best restaurant Inside the resort . It is next to the sea and the view is great. The food is very delicious at well.

We ate here several times during our stay. Breakfasts were excellent - this was our favorite breakfast spot at the resort. Lunch was decent but not outstanding. Dinner was really disappointing - food was so bad we ended up leaving without eating more than a few bites and going to the buffet for our actual meal.

Great setting but food was a bit of a letdown. Maybe thats a good thing as you won't overeat. Overlooks the beach and ocean. Servers were fast and friendly.
