Ruth's Chris Steak House, Cancun

 Just like home, but still amazing!
Great service, amazing food. Just like Ruth's Chris at home, except for this one is in paradise and it's warm! It was my husband's birthday and we were on vacation so we treated ourselves to this restaurant and were not disappointed. Very delicious and best service in town.

 Fabulous
We woke up this morning wanting to eat this again! We've not heard about Ruth's Chris steakhouse before but was happy after reading the reviews here. From walking in to leaving we loved it. Not cheap but the food is amazing. Our server/ sommelier Antonio Moo was lovely, recommending food and answering our questions and such a happy chap. We had a starter each and shared the Porterhouse which was incredible. Seasoned and cooked to perfection. The mash potatoes were so rich but light and the Brussel sprouts in bacon great. I shall be making these when we return. The wine list is good( expensive for us) but we choose a nice Argentinian one. We shared a desert and finished with a coffee. The best meal we've had in Cancun.

 Very good dinner!
Last night we had dinner here. It is a gorgeous restaurant inside surprisingly due to its setting in a mall. Easy access from the hotel area. No surprise the food and service were excellent. Our waiter Geuri Novelo looked after us perfectly. We had salads for starters and steak and crab cakes as our mains with mashed potatoes, mushrooms and roasted brussel sprouts. The only thing I didn't care for was the sizzling plate you get your steak on because your steak continues to cook and it is dangerously hot. Next time i will ask for a transfer to a regular plate i think. Thanks Geuri for the great service and excellent evening.

 Amazing food and even better service
My girlfriend and I ate at Ruth’s last night and it was nothing short of an amazing experience. We had some of the best service I’ve ever received at a restaurant from Antonio. He was very professional and knowledgeable of the restaurant and it’s food. The Cesar salad was amazing but the ribeye and mashed potatoes couldn’t have tasted better. We will be making a return trip next time we visit Cancun. Bravo to all the staff, the restaurant also has the perfect atmosphere!

 Amazing Experience
We had never been to Ruth's Chris Steak House, but we had heard very good things about it. When we arrived our expectations were high because of all the great things we had heard. We were greeted with a smile and immediately taken to our table, there was no waiting around. The attention to detail was second to none. Our waiter, Antonio Moo, was amazing. His recommendations were bang on. The steaks came and all were grilled to perfection. They surprised us with a beautiful desert, as we were celebrating a milestone anniversary. These days the rating of service isn't just about good food it is also about the experience and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Ruth's Chris exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant again! Thank you for the wonderful night that added to our perfect vacation.

 It's beyond the Ruth Chris in the US
The steaks are tender and delicious. I frequent Cancun and have found Ruth Chris to be outstanding EVERY time. I have also gone to Ruth Chris in the US several times and I find the meat much more tender and cooked perfect to my liking (medium rare) every time. The staff is extremely attentive and knows how to recommend and assist. The language is not a barrier. Shout out to Rodrigo Zapata!

Ruth’s Chris in Cancun is prime! Daniel Ramirez and his staff were outstanding with their service! There were eight of us at our table and handled us perfectly! The food was outstanding and as expected at a Ruth’s Chris Steak House. I would highly recommend this location if you’re vacationing in Cancún.

We hadn't been to Ruth's Chris in a while but decided since it was within walking distance we would try it again and I'm so glad we did. We had a wonderful meal and an excellent waiter- Geuri Novelo. We frequent their Boston location and we were pleasantly surprised here in Cancun. Service, food and ambience were all more than perfect. I had the bone in Strip with the carribean lobster tail and both were cooked to perfection.. our other guests had the bone in filet and just watching the faces of them barely having to chew was pleasure in itself... Daniel our waiter didn’t miss a beat, right down to watching me squint reading the menu and he suddenly appeared with different strengths of readers for me to try.. Service and food were PERFECTION!!! Definitely will return for another amazing experience... Kuddos to Ruth’s Chris for the unparalleled level of service and food!!!

 Great experience!!
First time visiting this Cancun location and we are glad we did. Our waiter Geuri Novelo was fantastic as well as his suggestions for the wine, appetizer, and entree. We had the BBQ shrimp appetizer, bone in new york strip, au gratin potatoes, and creamed spinach which were all delicious while sipping a decanted bottle of the Mexican Bordeaux blend from Mogor-Badan 2014. Can't wait to go back!!

 Wonderful service and great food.
We had passed by this restaurant 5 years ago on our first stay at the nearby Westin Lagunamar but we didn't have time for a meal. This time we were at the Westin for 2 weeks so we decided to give it a try.I reserved on-line but really needn't have bothered as there were plenty of free tables but the on-line reservation meant that we were always addressed by name during our meal - nice touch. We both opted for the smaller portions which was fine. Ribeye for me and filet for my wife. As well as fries we also had a side salad. Both steaks were cooked to perfection and the service throughout was attentive, professional and personal. Being from UK we had never come across this chain before but we were very impressed. We had a wonderful meal - not cheap and why should it be. Quality costs! We have no hesitation in recommending the restaurant and, who knows, we may well be back before we leave sunny Cancun for a cold and windy UK. Overall - a wonderful meal. Thanks.

We've never been to this location, but have been to the Minneapolis, Austin, Chicago, and Cabo. Ruth's never disappoints, and this one didn't either. It was a very welcome meal after a week of resort food. Service was amazing, and I want to say it was Gabriel(?) that helped us. He did a great job and was very accommodating. Convenient location, connected to a mall, quick service, and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good meal.

 Mouth Watering Steak, Excellent Service
My wife and I stopped in to Ruth's Chris after shopping at the attached luxury mall. We had never eaten at this chain but always heard great things. Easy to say, we were not disappointed. The service was impeccable! Our waiter Luis was attentive without being overbearing and gave excellent recommendations from the menu. My wife had the filet which could be cut with a fork and I enjoyed the bone-in ny strip which was tremendous. The restaurant is conveniently located near most of the resorts and Luis had a taxi waiting for us outside when we finished our meal.

Everything was perfect! The food was Delicius!!! I Went with my husband and we ordered cesar salad, onion soup, new york strip and a T-bone with a fire-roasted corn as a side, the chocolate duo for dessert and an excellent red wine offered by Daniel Ramirez who's excellent service and recomendations were Very much apreciated.We are coming back for sure!

As always Ruth's Chris is amazing only exceeded by the staff.......Raul Gabriel has been our waiter this trip and is exceptional with a very good supporting staff around him......we are here for three weeks and always take friends for dinner and tell the diverse people from other countries that they'll never have a better "STEAK"

Visited here to celebrate our honeymoon. Everything was perfect. It was just as good as the Ruth Chris in New York. Service was impeccable. Visited this restaurant for our 30 yr wedding anniversary. The meal was fantastic. They actually had a special going on for $45 pp - it was a fixed menu with dessert. It was very well worth it. Can't wait to visit this spot again.More

My husband and I went to Ruth Chris Steak House for our anniversary. The service was outstanding and the atmouspher was so romantic. The food was exceptional - best steak we have ever eaten. I would recommend the sweet potatoes. At the end of the meal they brought us a wonderful selection of deserts and provided us with an anniversary picture - What a wonderful evening.

We were very impressed with the quality of the steak. Melted in our mouths! Best steak we have ever had. Service was impeccable by Luis. He was very attentive, spoke excellent english and made us feel very welcome. We were a little under dressed as we just stumbled across the restaurant. Whilst we felt a little embarrassed they certainly didn't make us feel anything but welcome. We loved reading about Ruth's story too. Thanks for our most memorable meal in Cancun. We leave to fly back to Australia tomorrow.

 Still amazing
We came here 12 months ago and it was amazing! Same again on this holiday! It's quite expensive, but well worth it! I had the NY strip on the bones medium rare, it was cooked to perfection! We may return before the holiday is over! Fantastic food and fantastic service

 best steak i've ever had
We came here at around 6pm on a Tuesday night so it was rather quiet. We got a nice table in front of the window though. We had the best steak of our lives here, we ordered sauces but didn't touch them as we didn't need to! potato dauphinoise was amazing, chips were.. it is expensive but if you'd rather pay more but guaranteed to have a good steak this is your place.

Very attentive waiter, always there to make sure our water was always full. We both had the Strip steak and stuffed rab mushrooms. Delicious!At the end of meal, Luis had a fabulous surprise for my husband, a delicious chocolate treat.

We have gone to Cancun for 20 years in a row now and every year for the past 10 or so, we make it a point to make our last night in Cancun a very special one by going to Ruth's Chris Steak House for our final dinner in paradise! The staff there is so awesome that you never want to leave. They treat you like kings from the minute you walk in until the door closes behind you and then some! The food is "out of this world" good and the deserts are unbelievable! A location you surely do not want to miss while in Cancun!

I know it sounds strange to go to an American steakhouse in Cancun, but we always go one night to Ruth Chris while visiting, to be sure of a great meal. We had a wonderful dinner, great service. Everything was perfect! After 2 "iffy" meals at local restaurants, it was a nice, safe, special evening!

We tried Ruth in Cancun because we already knew this chain and we love it so much and we were really satisfied. The restaurant is inside a mall but it has also another entrance. The waiter was professional and the food was amazing, as always in Ruth.

WoW we had the best steak ever! Also the lambchops absolute the best ever. The first time we where a lil overruled that all the courses go so fast. So the waiter explained that the next time we need to say that we want an easy dinner. We are from Holland and like to eat slow and enjoy the food. So two days later, our last night in Cancun we had our second visit. Outstanding food! We never finish with a dessert but this time we did. Also magnificent Thank you for the great service and youre hospatality. We wil be back for sure!

The food and service were excellent....worthy of the Ruth's Chris name. Geuri Novelo took care of us during out visit, and we were NOT disappointed. If you are a steak-lover, you will find the steaks at Ruth's Chris Cancun superior to what is being served in the resorts. Highly recommended.

We were reluctant to eat here because I expected it to not be as good as the ones in the US, but I was wrong. It was as good or better, we went around 9 on a week night and it wasn't busy. The service was very good and the food was fantastic! Decor is nothing special but nice.

I ordered the Porterhouse steak... OH Man, it was delicious! The place is real fancy and clean. The menu prices are pricey, but it's worth it. I love my steaks, but this Porterhouse steak hit the spot, especially on vacation. The steak was so huge it looked like a dinosaur bone..lol. And the mashed potatoes mmmmmmm heaven, so good. I was tired eating the weird all inclusive food at my resort, so I went in town to eat, and I'm glad I ran into Ruth's Chris Steak House. The food re-adjusted my palette and taste buds. I know there's a Ruth's Chris steak house around my way, and you bet I'm going to check it out. Overall, the steak made my Cancun trip awesome.

The food and service were excellent....worthy of the Ruth's Chris name. Geuri Novelo took care of us during out visit, and we were NOT disappointed. If you are a steak-lover, you will find the steaks at Ruth's Chris Cancun superior to what is being served in the resorts. Highly recommended.

 Excellent!
We were reluctant to eat here because I expected it to not be as good as the ones in the US, but I was wrong. It was as good or better, we went around 9 on a week night and it wasn't busy. The service was very good and the food was fantastic! Decor is nothing special but nice.

 A must every visit to Cancun
The food and service at Ruth's Chris is always just fabulous. We always know when we visit this chain it will be excellent and this particular one in Cancun is great.More

 Pricey but worth it
I ordered the Porterhouse steak... OH Man, it was delicious! The place is real fancy and clean. The menu prices are pricey, but it's worth it. I love my steaks, but this Porterhouse steak hit the spot, especially on vacation. The steak was so huge it looked like a dinosaur bone..lol. And the mashed potatoes mmmmmmm heaven, so good. I was tired eating the weird all inclusive food at my resort, so I went in town to eat, and I'm glad I ran into Ruth's Chris Steak House. The food re-adjusted my palette and taste buds. I know there's a Ruth's Chris steak house around my way, and you bet I'm going to check it out. Overall, the steak made my Cancun trip awesome.

Steaks are delicious just as good as the steaks served at Ruth Chris in Philadelphia. Always worth a visit, even if the price is a bit high for Cancun you will not be disappointed. Looking forward to returning for another dinner on our return trip in November.

Been coming here a few times over the years, but unfortunately, the steak I ordered on our recent stay was overcooked. I should have requested to have it taken back, but I was very hungry. The cream spinach and asparagus were great though. Will give them another try.
