Sakura Sunset at Oasis Sens
Just returned from very enjoyable stay at Oasis Sens in Cancun. There are several restaurants on the property. Sakura Sunset is one which requires a 24hr advance reservation. On our first night, since we did not have an advance registration, we approached the maître d. He was very accommodating and had availability. This was our first stay at this hotel, or experience with this restaurant. The food and service were excellent. There are other fine restaurants on this hotel property but the Sakura Sunset was our favorite and the most memorable. The menu offered variety and we would have enjoyed dining there again. There are so many restaurants, it was hard to visit them all in a 5 night stay. We will return to this resort in the future and will certainly dine at Sakura Sunset again.

Sunset dining
Beautiful place, dimly lit with excellent decor. Small potions on the main course, we had calamari and fried shrimp and spring rolls for appetizers, rib tips and the Duck for main course. The waiter brought a sample plate of dessert, the lemongrass sorbet was to die for.

Loved the Ambiance
The Sakura Sunset was a fantastic restaurant. We would have dinner around 7:00pm just so we could watch the sunset. This restaurant has all tables facing the windows so you can see the sunset. The Food was delicious. Our servers were so kind and attentive.(I am sorry I can't remember their names.)

Great dining during vacation
During our recent trip to Cancun Mexico we visited Sakura Sunset for it was one of the restaurants in our hotel. Eyder our waiter was very attentive, food was amazing and a very nice decor. Definitely recommend if in area.

Great view
The restaurant has a great view, with a modern decor! The service was excellent, and our waiter, Esteban, was very professional. You could tell he was very experienced and attentive - overall a very nice guy. Our glasses were never empty with the ever flowing wine and martinis. I would absolutely recommend it! The restaurant is by reservation only - and we went three times during our trip!

Beautiful ambiance and delicious Nikkei (Peruvian/Japanese) fusion food
My boyfriend and I were staying at Gran Oasis Sens for my birthday and on our first night because we were unable to get a table at Black Hole we decided to try out Sakura Sunset which had been recommended by some of the staff we had just met there.It was the best decision we made because it was a beautiful restaurant with amazing staff and service. Being from Perú ourselves we really wanted to check it out and were very impressed with what Rodrigo the manager/host, and our server Eyder served up for us which reminded us of the food back home served up in a very wonderful manner.They even surprised me at the end of our meal with a special birthday dessert and candle to blow out :D We will definitely come back next time we visit Cancun again!

Great food
We visited the restaurant on Friday night a bit last minute. I am a fussy eater and was really worried by the amount of fish. I had the beef skewers which were fantastic and the rasberry lemon grass foam was to dye for. Our waiter Estaban was really attentive and made the whole experience a pleasure.A big thank you to Nelson the Sian Kaan concierge for turning what was fast becoming a pretty miserable evening into a great one.

I took my husband to Grand Oasis Sens as a surprise for his 50th birthday. The resort was very quiet at this time of year but nonetheless, the service was very good. Particularly the host Rodrigo at Sakura Asian Restaurant, Humberto at the Italian Restaurant, and all the staff at the breakfast buffet. This was our second trip to Oasis Sens this year and we'll be returning again in 2018.

We are visiting for our honeymoon and Esteban went above and beyond to make our romantic dinner at Sakura Sunset romantic and special. We could not decide between meals and he gave us a taste of the duck which was phenomenal. All of his recommendations were delicious. The ceviche, tuna tartar, calamari, salmon and duck were all amazing and did not disappoint. Esteban brought us an assortment of all desserts and a Happy Honeymoon note that really made our dinner special and one to remember! First class service and an A for creativity!
We are overwhelmed of how nice the employees are in this restaurant and the excellent service we received. Our waiter Eyder was very helpful, he listened to our dietary needs and the manager Onell made a four course just for us to accommodate our dietary restrictions. Our meal was accompanied by very tasty and original drinks made by Gerardo, he would truly make anything you ask him, we had typical Mexican drinks we had no idea existed. The four course meal was very creative and tasty, we are truly impressed and grateful to the staff, Onell, Esteban, Eyder, Lerdi and Gerardo. We strongly suggest to come to this place and tell all your friends, the view is beautiful, the restaurant is classy and the whole experience will be simply breath taking.
