 This place is the place to go
If you have a big family, this is the place to go because they have great tacos at an inexpensive price, you can go there early in the morning or late at night, friendly atmosphere and great tasty food, recommended.

 Awesome locals taco destination
Great Mexican food for very reasonable prices with some unusual tacos, like eyeball tacos, cabeza and tongue. Waiters very friendly. Four of us ate there for $30 USD. don't worry about when you get there since they are open until 5 am.

 Must eat if you're in the area.
This might have been the cheapest place we ate ate the whole time in Cancun but the food was arguably the best. Had the fish tacos the first time & some grilled fish the second time. The drinks are good & also cheap. Not sure why this place wasn't packed 24/7 because it might be the best value food spot in the Hotel Zone. Would definitely come back again & multiple times on our next trip.

Great taco+ restaurant, 3rd day here and after visiting other spots finally had to write a review. Enjoy, we had all “gringas” and the gringa campechano which is a mix.

Great Mexican food options at this place. Prices are great and service is quick. You have to eat there once to try real Mexican flavors...

 Fabulous place to eat!
Was directed by our airport transfer driver to visit Taco Rigo after shopping at Market 28. We did and we're glad to have done so!The place was quiet, however on a Monday at lunch. Not sure when they get busy; however, it gave my wife and I time to enjoy the food and the cartoon folk art mural. The food was good and tasty. Always good to see how local restaurants cook food versus hotel all inclusive. I had four different types of tacos and I was full after two!Recommend coming down when you are in Kaan Kun. It's about 5 min walk after Market 28 just after Palenque. Worth it!

 Visited 3 times on holiday
This place is a great find, the food is great quality for a very cheap price. We were staying at the Riu Cancun which is just 2 minutes along the road, so visited on 3 occasions while on holiday ! The service is brilliant, everyone is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the tacos, which were all freshly made and extremely tasty. My favourite was the beef with cheese. We also brought friends here that we met during our trip, and tried the nachos which were of great size and perfect for a sharing starter. It is a nice atmosphere sitting outside, and is always fairly busy. Also compliments to Thomas and his great service, who made an effort to chat to us every night and made us feel special!

 So damn good and good in the pocket
Honestly their fish on the grill with rice is so delicious!! All waiters and waitresses are so kind and their menu is all good! My wife also enjoyed very much their enchiladas Rojas!

 The best tacos ever
Been coming to Tacos Rigo for the last 15 years and the first time was just as great as our trip today . Ricardo the the Al Pastor taquero is the best (pictured here with us) he always welcomes us with open arms . The habanero salsa is the most addicting and hottest I have ever tried, but worth the pain . Tacos Al Pastor , lengua , suadero, cachete , tripa , ojo etc.......have 1 of each they are the best. Order sides of cebollitas (grilled onions ) , guacamole and radishes it's endless what you can add here to your tacos . Ohhh don't forget the ice cold Corona......Cheers.....

Servers were always courteous and fast in bringing our order. Id really recommend for someone trying to eat something other than bistec tacos.

We go to Tacos Rigo every time we're in Cancun. The tacos are the best around with a huge selection of fillings. They've now opened one in the Hotel Zone so we don't have to go to the downtown location anymore.

 So damn good and good in the pocket

 Delicious Tacos!
Tacos Rigo offers delicious-tasting tacos in a very relaxed setting. Originally started as a small taco stand, it is grown over the years to a restaurant. Recommend the family-size platter, with generous portions for 3-4 people. Our server was polite and helpful. If travelling by taxi, they were not regularly seen close-by, so you may need to flag a local taxi. Overall, Highly Recommend!

 Doesn't get BETTER!
Authentic Goodness. The Quesadillas are phenomenal. The tacos are to DIE for. I'll just post pictures. AMAZING!

We stayed in the Aloft hotel next door and were amazed at this little place. Food was great and the people were friendly, though their English was pretty limited. Incredibly cheap prices by Cancun standards, but the food was some of the best we had on our trip. Definitely a "go-to" for a laid back, tasty meal!

 Best Tacos I've Had While In Cancun
My friend who have been living here for years brought us here when we told him we wanted Mexican tacos. According to him, Rigo's have the best tasting and authentic mexican tacos and I was able to prove it right.I had 3 tacos and all of them are spicy but really good. Best tacos I've ever had. They also have this kind of weird michelada that is way different from what we have in Costa Rica. Theirs is kind of blackish and the taste is funny but nonetheless I loved it, cause it's something different.Highly recommended if you want to try the authentic Mexican tacos in Cancun.

 "These Are the Best Tacos In The Planet"
I went to Cancun in June 2015, there was this one day that rain all day because of a tropical storm (Carlos)so we were at the hotel all day long,just drinking, so it finally stopped raining around 7:00pm and I wanted to eat some good tacos in cancun, the guy at the bar told me about tacos Rigo, they have another location right behind the A Loft hotel but they were close, so we took a bus and went to the one by mercado 28,these are the best tacos I had in my entire life... and I'm a 100% Mexicano born and raised, but live in Texas... So I know about Mexican food, I can tell if is good or not.... these are so GOOD.....So next time you are in cancun you need to try them!Good service as well!!!

Never been dissapointed here! It all started with a tiny stand on Palenque avenue and now has expanded to various locations in the area. I highly reccommend for tourists, not cheesy Mexican declr, but Mexican folklore portrayed here. Delicious tacos of all kinds possible. Ask a taxi driver for the downtown Tacos Rigo, near Mercado 28.

 Great Local Food away from the hotel strip
Hotel recommended this restaurant for good tacos. Its a little out of the way, but worth every step we took to get there, FOOD WAS AUTHENTIC AND EXCELLENT.

 Best tacos in cancun
I went to Cancun for my birthday this month and I went with the purpose of finding good tacos and guacamole since those are my favorite foods ever! and i found the best in this tiny place called Tacos Rigo. My girlfriend and I are both very low key and when we travel we try our best to enjoy good local cuisine and to give our money to small restaurants that are family owned as opposed to spend our money in gigantic food chains restaurants. I loved the atmosphere of Tacos Rigo, they were attentive and the tacos were delicious. I went three times during my stay and the last time they even put music louder for us (since it was only 12pm) and allowed us to bring drinks from the place next door (since the place next door has better tequila) and i was able to wear big mexican hats and dance like noone was watching. I recommend this place before taco factory. Taco Factory was super disappointing and the guacamole was absolutely the worst i had in Cancun.

 Taco Heaven!
We dropped by at Tacos Rigo because I had a huge craving for tacos and it was recommended by an employee at the Aloft Hotel (which is right next door). My tacos (pastor, chicken & arrachera) were absolutely delish and meaty. One of my sons also had tacos and another had the chilaquiles which were also fantastic.We will definitely return next time were are in Cancun.

 Always a must for us
We always try to visit this restaurant at least once during a visit to Cancun. Go by taxi and request he return to pick you up again as taxis are not always available from there. We found out this trip that there is also a Tacos Rigo in the hotel zone, but we did not try it

Really delicious!! It was recommendation of our taxi driver and we'll continue to recommend it!! It's very clean, waiters so nice and friendly and the price is very good, just They don't have English menu, anyway you must to try different kind of tacos, there are delicious.

We are tacos lovers and we retreived the local flavor of great tortillas. Great tacos al pastor and bistek with cheese Staff is great and passionate about his food

Staff is friendly and service is good. I ordered a 'queso fundido' for my daughter and some 'tacos al pastor' for myself. Food tasted good and the 'agua de horchata' and 'jamaica' were refreshing but a bit on the sweet side. Prices are a bit high but I guess you're paying for their fame (like in any other place). Would definitely go back.

We ate dinner here last night. I had the chicken enchiladas there were 5 smallish ones with beans and rice and husband had beef fajitas, with at least 8 corn tortillas with beans, rice and guacamole. We were a bit worried by the price, thinking that it would be more of a snack not really a meal.. By the time we were done we were full as can be.. We got two mini cervesa and bought two cervesa and the total bill was 260 pesos with tip approx $20 USA We met the owner on the way out, told him it was Delicious and we would for sure be back !Try it out !! You will LOVE IT !!The gave me the cutest chocolate Valentine marshmallow dessert..❤️ It was very good

Tacos Rigo is a fun, lively and colourful place to tuck into really good tacos. Locals and tourists mingled, the TVs where showing 3 or 4 different sport events at the same time and add to a slightly chaotic atmosphere. But the food was good and the staff attentive.

So many tasty options on the menu, at affordable prices ($18 pesos is ~$1 USD per taco!!!), in charming space.I was lucky to be able to squeeze in a quick lunch before my flight: I originally tried for the closer location in hotel zone, but they didn't open til closer to noon. Tried:-Tacos: pastor, campechano, cabeza, tripitas-Queso fundido: with chuleta and longaniza-Guanabana agua frescaLOVED:-Tripitas taco: flavor bombs of tender tripe with fried pieces thrown in for crunch (so good I ordered 3 more to go)-Queso fundido hot melted cheesy deliciousness topped with super juicy tender fatty pork chop and sausage-Guanabana agua frescaWanted to try cow brain taco as well, but they didn't have it when I went unfortunately. Got there just past 11am on a Tuesday, asked my taxi driver to join since he was kind enough to stick around, knowing I was on a time crunch to get back to fetch my luggage before heading to the airport - and we were only a handful of tables (this location closes at noon), service was friendly and quick and the food was phenomenal.Adding this to my list of must stops when in the area, and hoping to have more time on the next trip to explore the other supermanzanas / mercados in the area as well!

Make sure to ask for their Pico de Gallo to have with the chips or top your tacos. They make it delicious!! Only thing our group was not impressed about was the "frozen" margaritas they were kind of strange.Service was top notch and friendly!

Tacos Rigo is a fun, lively and colourful place to tuck into really good tacos. Locals and tourists mingled, the TVs where showing 3 or 4 different sport events at the same time and add to a slightly chaotic atmosphere. But the food was good and the staff attentive.

Not the best tacos ever. Just OK. I would not recommend this place, tacos are just fine, but I wouldn't drive all the way from zona hotelera for this place. THe meat was "probably" steak, but I am not sure. Service was excellent, like it is often in Mexico.

 Overrated..........
Tried this place for dinner on our second night in Cancun after reading the reviews in LP and TA but we were very disappointed with the tacos. The beef one was OK but the chicken taco was dreadful, we were not sure what kind of meat it was but felt sure it did not come from a chicken!!!We may just of been unlucky, otherwise the place was very colourful and the staff friendly and the meals were very reasonably priced.
